The setting was richly imagined, filled with strange new ideas that challenged my perspective while still drawing me fully into the story. It carried that thoughtful quality I’ve come to expect from his work—layered, inventive, and deeply engaging.

Another thoughtful read, and another reminder of why I continue to return to Tchaikovsky’s books.
